Security & privacy
This page gives a high-level account of how SVERIGEFAKTA approaches security and privacy today. It does not disclose secrets or details that could weaken protection. The description is maintained by the editorial team and is not an independent certification.
Accounts and access
- The site uses accounts and authentication for personal member features. Access to private information and internal tools is restricted by signed-in user and permission.
- Database rules apply even when the interface performs its own checks. Administrative actions are checked on the server and do not rely on information a user can alter in the browser.
Comments and notifications
- The comment function on sverigefakta.com is paused until further notice.
- Comments on SVERIGEFAKTA's Facebook page are reviewed by the same editorial team that is responsible for sverigefakta.com. Illegal content, such as threats, agitation against a population group and defamation, is removed. Questions and corrections are received via kontakt@sverigefakta.com.
- Account holders may receive notifications in the member area and, where they have enabled them, by email or web push. Preferences and opt-out are managed per account and channel.
Privacy and analytics
- Public and private information are kept separate. Private responses must not be stored in shared caches, and only data needed for the selected feature should be processed.
- Analytics are cookie-free and aggregated. They are used to understand traffic and page performance, not to build individual advertising profiles.
Read what information is processed, for which purposes and what choices you have under Privacy & cookies.
Security principles
Security work is based on least necessary access, server-side checks, separation of public and private content, and failures blocking an unsafe action rather than allowing it through.
No web service can promise complete security. Safeguards, dependencies and permissions need review as the product changes, and statements on this page should not be read as a guarantee.
Report an incident or vulnerability
Report suspected security issues or privacy incidents via kontakt@sverigefakta.com. Do not send passwords, private keys or other secrets. For factual errors and other questions, also see Contact.
